She enjoys working with clients of all ages, and she utilizes a systemic, holistic, and trauma-informed approach. Hilary is interested in furthering her knowledge and skills for animal-assisted therapy, as well as working with women, couples, and families who are experiencing the addition of a new baby.
Ethical issues can be confusing to identify and navigate as some of them do not appear to pose a problem at first glance. When working with children and their families, it is important that clinicians are aware of the potential ethical dilemmas that can arise throughout treatment.
- Participants will become knowledgeable about the various ethical codes that can apply to the different licenses in the state of Texas, as well as for the Association for Play Therapy.
- Participants will identify a minimum of two common issues that play therapists encounter when working with clients and their families.
- Participants will discuss considerations for ethical issues when providing telehealth services to play therapy clients.
